Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Governor Engineer Shaukatullah Khan has said that effective steps would be taken for rehabilitation and compensation of Internally Displaced Persons belonging to Kurram Agency.
Talking to Radio Pakistan, the Governor said that government is well aware of their problems relating to health, education and load shedding.
He said necessary steps would be taken for establishment of a hospital at Central Kurram Agency and strengthening the available facilities in existing health units.
He said that problems faced by tribal people would gradually be solved and complete security of life would be provided to them.
The Governor assured that verification of registration through NADRA of 85 thousand registered IDPs would be completed in 3 weeks.More-over ration distribution process would be streamlined in such a way to save honour of people, he added.
The Governor said that rented buildings have been acquired for the affected students of Ladha and Zaam Degree Colleges.
The concerned teaching staff would initiate education activities in the first week of this month therein.
