Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Wednesday stressed the need for showing unity to meet the challenge of terrorism.
Talking to newsmen outside Parliament House, the minister said he was ready to brief the National Assembly about 5-year performance of the government in respect of law and order situation.
The government is completing its 5-year term but there is not a single political prisoner in the country.
He regretted that despite frequent requests the Punjab government has not taken action against Lashkar-e-Jhangvi which is involved in spoiling situation in Quetta and Karachi.
To a question Rehman Malik contradicted a media report that he was defaulter of electricity bill and said he would be taking legal action against the said section of media.
